Nedstack product range
Nedstack manufactures and sells robust PEM fuel cell (PEMFC) stacks in the 2 – 10 kW range. PEM fuel cell systems are scalable: enlarge the fuel tank for increased runtime autonomy, and incrementally add stacks to exactly meet the output you need. Stacks can easily be operated in parallel or series, enabling the creation of large power output.
Depending on the application, Nedstack stacks are tailored for either high performance (HP) or extended lifetime (XL). HP and XL stacks differ in their operating modes and MEA types used.
High Performance (HP) fuel cells deliver maximum output per unit and are available with an output ranging between of 2kW to 10.1kW;
eXtended Life (XL) fuel cells are developed for their extreme durability and are available with an output ranging between 2kW to 9.3kW.
The output of a fuel cell stack is determined by the number of cells stacked together.
A typical Nedstack 10 kW stack operating in its operating window delivers 40A at 60V and 300A at 35 - 40V peak power for XL and HP stacks respectively. See our specification sheets for the typical current-voltage curves. A 10 kW stack, with a power density of 0.4 kW/litre peak, today delivers a proven longevity of 4,500 (HP) to 8,000 (XL) hours.
Although Nedstack stacks can be applied in a broad range of market segments and applications, Nedstack is the fuel cell stack provider of choice for integrators who deliver energy systems for telecom, rail and utilities applications, and transport purposes. Our product range covers the specific needs of each of those applications.
Nedstack standard product range and typical applications
Our standardized product lines meet most customers' needs. Still, some applications require a customized power output. For large volume orders we can produce a stack to specification in the range from 2 to 10kW. We will be delighted to work with you to deliver the product you need.
